Unlike any workout I’ve ever done before! I was instantly hooked after my first class. The professor attention to detail is second to none. The fellow students do a great job at making you feel like part of the family. If you’re interested in learning a martial art, I highly recommend coming down and trying a class.
Gracie Barra Richmond Steveston is great! The instructors are knowledgeable and they are super patient and friendly. They will work with you and encourage you to do the best you can in class. The atmosphere around the gym is amazing too, super positive and super friendly!
I live in Steveston and found this place while riding in the spring... I called just in time for the soft opening and my son took a liking to the kind instructor immediately! They are authentic have an excellent group that is friendly and knowledgeable!

I love going to BJJ classes at Gracie Barra Steveston! I’ve been able to improve both my cardio and mental health. You can tell that the instructor has a tremendous wealth of knowledge and a real passion to share it. It’s a great group of people to spend an hour a day with!

I've been training with the instructor here for about 7 months now and it's been awesome! It's a great workout and a great group of people to be around.
Very welcoming people and amazingly solid workout overall. Mostly the sports of jiu jitsu makes you think before, during and after the workout. It has to be good for the brain as well. Loving it! I could not have made any other better choice for my routine. Absolutely Family like environment. Anyone who's been thinking about jiu jitsu should come and train together. 100% guaranteed will improve oneself in many way. Best time to join now.
